Our Story

ISWA is open to full-time, Washington residents in grades K–12. We offer a personalized approach to education, opportunity to earn college credits with dual enrollment, career and college prep for grades 9–11, and credit recovery courses.

The Support You and Your Student Need

Our teachers are committed to helping your family succeed with online learning. They provide instruction and support as your child works through the curriculum. And they keep the lines of communication open through email, phone, online “Class Connect” sessions, and online and in-person activities. You’ll also receive textbooks and other hands-on materials delivered right to your door! These offline materials complement the interactive online elements of the lessons and vary by grade and course.

Get Ahead With Career and College Prep

Although the future can seem far off, students who begin preparing for careers in middle and high school can gain significant advantages. Students can explore career fields to discover and pursue their interests. Whether they already know where they’re headed or are just beginning to find their path, this program can help get them where they want to go. Career fields include Arts, AV Technology & Communications; Business Management & Administration; Health Science; Information Technology; and Marketing.

Washington Virtual Academies (WAVA), a program of Omak School District, is a full-time online public school for students in grades K–12. We’re dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through an education experience tailored to each child’s needs.

Our Story

WAVA is open to Washington residents in grades K–12. We offer Washington-certified teachers; a rigorous, highly interactive curriculum; choice of WAVA’s standard or new FLEX Program; opportunities for middle schoolers to earn high school credits; dual-credit courses; and career readiness education for middle and high school students.

You can use your high school years to figure out where you want to go and how to get there. In addition to core courses, you’ll take career-focused electives to explore your options and find your passion—all while earning your high school diploma. Our Story

Each of us are on a journey of discovering our purpose and calling in life.

For me personally, it started at a Young Life camp in British Columbia where I realized as a teenager I was “fearfully and wonderfully made” for something beyond myself. Through my career in law, business and education, I developed the knowledge, skills and desire to serve others through innovation and nontraditional programs. My volunteer work in Malawi, Africa over the last decade helped me see education as the bridge of opportunity to transform nations. And when the pandemic opened up the world to the possibility and benefits of online learning, I knew it was time to launch a network of faith-based online schools and programs that would serve students in the US and around the world.

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only. For the 2023–2024 school year, MU Prep has expanded to offer our innovative, virtual full-time enrollment to students in grades K–10 in more than 30 states. We will also offer grades 11 and 12 in the coming years. MU Prep-Indiana offers a fully virtual program to students across the state and a hybrid learning option, including in-person learning at Marian University in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana.
